On 26 April 2024, the Football Association of Finland (Suomen Palloliitto) and the Latvian Football Federation (LFF) announced that their current Presidents, Mr. Ari Lahti and Mr. Vadims Ļašenko, respectively, had been re-elected for additional four-year terms. As a curiosity, it is worth noting that both officials were first elected during the most challenging moments of the COVID-19 pandemic back in 2020.
